Kaybiang tunnel is a favorite spot for motorcycle riders because it is the fastest way to go to Tagaytay. Many motorcycle riders have taken pictures of their roadtrip to this 300 meter length tunnel that links Batangas-Bauan-Nasugbu road.
A Brief History
The Kaybiang Tunnel was built in 2009 and opened in 2013. It is a highway tunnel that passes through Mount Palay-Palay National Park, also called “Mt. Pico de Loro.” It connects the towns of Ternate in Cavite and Nasugbu in Batangas and is located along the Nasugbu-Ternate Highway. The longest road tunnel in the Philippines as of this moment is the 300-meter-long Kaybiang Tunnel.
How To Get There
On a motorcycle, the Nasugbo-Ternate Highway will take you there. From Manila you need to pass Tanza Naic and then via the Nasugbo-Ternate Highway. The best way to make the road trip is during an early rides around 4AM to 5 AM in the morning to avoid the buildup of traffic in the areas of Cavite.
